This is an interesting topic! This time it will be a short article. How do I see waiting, what is it and do I discover or notice it in myself? Waiting is connected with disappointment, and what is it? It is nothing more than a product of our mind, our fantasies or thoughts about specific events or people, inadequate, preceding what is actually going to happen. How to deal with waiting? It is often the case that we have plans, ideas, etc. Often this reality turns out to be “different”. Why? Because expectations are nothing more than a product of our imagination, a product of our fantasies. What is the next step to overcome them? You have already taken the first one, you have accepted their existence. It would be best if you wrote down on a piece of paper: What are these expectations? What are your expectations? Who or what does it concern specifically? Was it associated with disappointment? What emotions accompanied you? Where in your body do you feel these emotions? What could you do for yourself at this moment? Write as much as you can about this, writing in general opens and broadens the perspective on what you feel and how you experience life. In closing, I encourage you to understand (or not – it depends on you) the quote from the Holy Scripture: “For I know the thoughts I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to prepare for you a future and to inspire you with hope.”
